Public Meeting held on February 21, 2024
At the first public meeting we discussed proposed improvements at The Bend as well as overall branding for our Greater Downtown area.

Where
Main St/15th Ave, The Rust Belt Area at 12th Avenue, and The Bend at the riverfront.
When
Design is underway. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2027.
Why
Barriers like railroad crossings and lack of pedestrian infrastructure are keeping our Greater Downtown areas separated, which limits connectivity and future growth.
Funding
This project is funded in part by a $23.7 million federal RAISE grant.
